Wednesday, February 7th  5:30-6:30 p.m.

GLC Multipurpose Room

The Graduate School and the Board of Visitors Graduate and Professional Student Rep, Emily Tirrell, are teaming up to host a resource fair for graduate students. A variety of organizations and services on campus will be showcased at this event. There will be free pizza sponsored by the GPSS. Graduate Coordinators and Graduate Program Directors are encouraged to share this information with their students and are also invited to attend this event to learn more about graduate student resources.

Nominations for Graduate School Fellowships are now being accepted for the 2024-25 academic year.   CIRTL at Virginia Tech Associate Teaching Program

The CIRTL at Virginia Tech Associate Teaching Program is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral associates to connect and associate with effective teaching practices. Participants will engage in programming focused on foundational knowledge about teaching and complete a teaching philosophy activity to start building their teaching portfolios. Upon program completion, participants will receive a digital badge recognizing their achievement of program requirements. The program is open to graduate students and postdoctoral associates regardless of teaching experience or responsibilities. Multiple options for program completion are available. To be eligible for the program, you must be a current graduate student or postdoctoral associate at Virginia Tech. Program requirements must be completed during your time as a graduate student or postdoctoral associate at the university.
