2. MLK Shoe Drive
Monday, January 18 – Friday, February 26
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, The Office of Recruitment, Diversity, and Inclusion, in coordination with Soles4Soulswill host a shoe drive. Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s shoe donations in all sizes are greatly appreciated! Join us for this fun and safe service event from Monday, January 18, 2021, through Friday, February 26, 2021. 1. Graduate School Funded Fellowships
Nominations for Graduate School Fellowships are currently being accepted for 2021-22. For eligibility, nomination information, and deadlines, please visit each opportunity listed on the Funding Sponsored by the Graduate School page.

2. Request for Library Recommendations
The Office of Recruitment, Diversity, and Inclusion would like to receive recommendations of books related to diversity, inclusion, and/or equity.  Please submit your recommendations at https://forms.gle/dVVwzjwfgTcNtZeaA. For questions, email ordi@vt.edu

3. Nominations Soon to Open for Graduate Student and Outstanding Mentor Awards
The Graduate School is now accepting nominations for graduate student awards. Faculty and/or academic departments and programs may submit nominations for outstanding theses and dissertations; excellence in teaching or service; graduate student of the year; and outstanding disciplinary students. In addition to these nominations, each college is asked to select its own outstanding master’s and doctoral student and outstanding mentor to be recognized by the Graduate School during Graduate Education Week 2021.
